Sunday in Sandton

Sunday 12-02: After a 11-hour flight from Frankfurt to Johannesburg, we arrived at my residence in Sandton. It was a night without sleep, but it was definetely worth it! We were put on a bus from the plane (Boeing 747) to the Passport check. When we found our luggage we went to the arrival hall and met Hans, my uncle. We went straight off to the Pick 'n Pay to buy a sim card for use in South Africa. After buying the sim card we went to the residence, where we ate something and took a swim. Tonight we will eat at a restaurant in Johannesburg. Im looking forward to it very much, however I want to catch some sleep too. Tomorrow I have to be at Tshikululu at 7:30 am. I will update you tomorrow, telling about the activities and experiences.

Internship in South Africa

Flight to South-Africa; departure at Schiphol, Amsterdam. I will be flying this evening (11-02-2017), and I will arrive in Johannesburg in the morning. During the two week internship I will work at Tshikululu, a social investment centre/company. I will work around the 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
